Underwater housing maker Aquatica has announced that it is developing an “extensive” monitor/recorder series for use with its housings. In a recent news release (PDF), the Canadian company introduces the first monitor in the line, the 5HD, which is currently undergoing testing.
According to the specifications given in the announcement, the monitor boasts a 5.7-inch IPS LED-backlit display, Full HD (1920x1080) resolution, a contrast ratio of 1400:1, and brightness of 460 cd/m². The specs also mention a false color tool, focus peaking assist, and color temperature adjustment.
Aquatica has promised more details as well as pricing information “in the coming weeks.”
