
Another Cruise Ship Oil Spill

Norwegian police reported that a large amount of oil has leaked from a cruise ship in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geiranger fjord
Police spokesperson Magne Toennoey says authorities have managed to contain the oil in one spot to prevent it from spreading and will try to pump it out of the water. He couldn't say exactly how much oil was in the water but said it was "a large amount clearly visible from land."
Toennoey said the oil leaked from the Bahamas-registered cruise ship Spirit of Adventure Sunday and that police will investigate the cause of the leak...
