Adobe is rolling out updates for both Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic (Windows and Mac) based off of the top requests from customers.
For Lightroom Classic CC you can now import a ZIP of presets and profiles by selecting the folder under “Import.” Less significant for editing, updates to the Book Module add new layouts for seamless spreads, magazines, and trade books.
A big change in Lightroom CC: You can now save an album’s photos “local” to edit the images while offline. The setting “Store Album Locally” is set to be a big hit for underwater photographers who are often in areas without access to the cloud.
Those are the major changes to the desktop app. There are updates for the Lightroom mobile apps as well, which bring new features, tweaked design, and overall improved performance. You can read more about all of the updates, here.
