Adobe Releases Lightroom 4 Beta
By Joseph Tepper, January 10, 2012 @ 03:11 PM (EST)
Adobe has announced the immediate release of a Beta version of their popular Lightroom 4 photo and video editing software.
The biggest change to the new version is an all new lineup of tonal adjustment controls, which “extract the entire dynamic range from cameras for stunning shadow details and highlights.” The software also includes improvements in control over noise reduction, moire and white balance.
With increasing frequency of HDSLR video, photographers can now use Lightroom 4 to extract, trim and edit their video from not only DSLRs, but also smartphones and compact cameras.
For more information on the Beta version of Lightroom 4 or to download the software, visit Adobe’s download page.
