Adobe Announces Photoshop Elements 10

By Matt J. Weiss, September 22, 2011 @ 09:00 AM (EST)

For those that don't want to deal with all the features of Photoshop (or don't want to cough up the money for the hefty price tag), there is always Elements, which is now in its 10 version

New to Elements 10 is a Guided Edits feature, which helps new users achieve a certain look or feel by walking them through the editing process.  Additionally Adobe has spruced up the image organization options available to photographers looking to use the program for more of their digital asset management.  Given the popularity of sharing videos these days, Elements 10 also comes with a tool to upload your videos to sites like YouTube and Facebook.

Other than that, some updates to familiar tools like the crop and text boxes round up the changes.

Photoshop Elements 10 will be released shortly for $99 for new users, or as a $79.99 upgrade.
