
Adobe Announces Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6
For those that didn't download the release candidates, you can now update Lightroom and Camera Raw as Adobe announced the official upgrades earlier this week. For those who may have got Canon S100 or Sony NEX-7 for the holidays, the new releases support files from these cameras. More form Adobe below.
Adobe announced the availability of Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 final releases on Adobe.com. Originally posted as release candidates on Adobe Labs, the final updates provide raw file format support for nine new cameras including Canon PowerShot S100, Nikon 1 V1 and Sony NEX-7, and add over 30 lens profiles to help photographers automatically correct unwanted distortion and chromatic aberration.
In addition, Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 final updates correct issues reported from the latest releases. Adobe encourages the community to provide feedback so it can ensure the highest quality experience for customers working on diverse hardware and software configurations.
