ADEX 2010 Begins April 9th

By Matt J. Weiss, April 7, 2010 @ 02:06 AM (EST)

ADEX, the region's longest-running annual dive show, begins on April 9th and runs all weekend.  If you are around Singapore , head over to the show to check out the 100+ exhibition booths that are from 20+ countries and cover the whole spectrum of the dive industry.

Other than the exhibition hall, ADEX 2010 offers presentations from inspiring dive professionals and industry leaders, fascinating underwater videos, marine-themed photography and art displays, the inaugural best-in-class awards, a kid's interactive zone, a live art creation with auction, plus competition awards and prize-giving ceremonies.

Underwater image makers Stan Waterman, Chip Scarlett and Todd Essick will be in attendance to share their experiences and expertise with the show's visitors. All are renowned for their work with sharks, which fits in with ADEX 2010's efforts in supporting shark conservation.  Presentation topics on the main stage will focus on both the excitement of diving with sharks and the urgent need for shark conservation, especially as it relates to the inhumane practice of shark fining.

ADEX invites you to join them in showing support for the plight of sharks, find out how you can personally contribute to the cause and leave the expo inspired by examples of worldwide projects that are making a difference to
shark conservation.
