
Final Cut Pro X Demoed And Announced
The long awaited Final Cut Pro X, a 64 Bit version of the software, was demoed and announced at the Final Cut Pro User Group SuperMeet. The software has been completely rewrtten from the ground up and It packs many features that users have wanted, including fully using all cores on machines. Other features include background rendering so you do not need to watch the "rendering" dialog box, rolling shuuter correction, better color correction and no need to transcode - yes it is suppossed to work natively with AVCHD.
The software will be released in June and will be avaiable for $299, including via the Apple Software download store.
Apple said more updates are in store for the other parts of the Final Cut Studio. Stay tuned, it should be alot of fun for Final Cut users.
