Canon Launches XA10 & HF G10 Video Cameras & More
2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) runs from January 6th through the 9th, and CES is always good for announcements. Some may be semi-kept secrets, but it is still fun when they start becoming official. Canon's announcements include the XA10 & HF G10 Video Cameras and some point and shoots - including the A3300 IS, A2200, A1200 and A800.
The point and shoots range in price from $89 to $179, and feature 10 to 16 MP, depedning on the sensor. They are basic point and shoots, and at the price point they look like fun pocket cameras, but if you are looking for P&S with more flexibility in the Canon Line, the S95 ($399) and G12 ($499) are probably better options for more situtations due to their features.
