Panning

A technique that can be applied with any camera, but it is best to have control over your shutter speed to yield the best results. The camera is moved to follow your subject, ensuring that the subject remains in the same position in the frame throughout the pan. The trick is to set the shutter speed slow enough to blur the background, but fast enough to get a crisp focus on your subject.
