INTERNATIONAL SUBMARINE IMAGE FESTIVAL (FIIS)

After the public success of the International Submarine Image Festival, the Oceanogràfic de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias has the pleasure to announce the second edition of the FIIS from the 1st to 3rd of October on its premises. The Festival has two parts, the first is the video and photography contest itself and the second and less important, is regarding the proposed activities for this year. For the contest, the films as well as the photographs will be subject to a selection process. The finalist submarine films presented at the contest will be presented at the Auditorium Mar Rojo and the photographic exposition will take place at the upper and lower parts of the access Building. The public can visit both during the three days of the Festival. On the other hand the second FIIS will offer a new programme with themes related to the sea, diving workshops, submarine photography or film and other activities of interest, complying with our purpose to make the Festival a gathering for professionals, diving passionates, and spread awareness to the general public about the marine environment, also conveying a message of conservation.
