Our inaugural monthly contest theme was Nudibranchs, and boy did we get some killer entries. Over 400 of them!
The winner of August Monthly Photo Contest is Nocturnal Lights SLX800i focus light is Esteban Toré Escofet, with a spectacular shot of a nudibranch with a diver silhouetted in the background. The judges thought Esteban did a great job of showing a relatively common subject in a unique way. Great job, Esteban!
In second place was Kevin Lee's image of a transparent melibe nudibranch that had great detail and was perfectly exposed. Third place went to Christian Skauge for his angelic like portrait of a free swimming nudibranch.
